Dunnellon Duck Race

Get your ducks in a row and participate in the inaugural Dunnellon Duck Race for nonprofits at 8 a.m. on Sept. 26. The virtual race is hosted by the Dunnellon Chamber & Business Association in conjunction with several nonprofit organizations who are members of the DCBA.

Over 600 Quackers are in need of adoption. Each of the participating nonprofits will have ducks available for adoption. The ducks are approximately 8” long, made of wood and are identified by their tail feather colors and a number on their backs. So get your DUCKS in a row, adopt your ducks and get ready to tune in to the race!

You can adopt your ducks, sponsor the race AND even donate to one of your favorite nonprofits at this link.

You can also go to the DCBA website, dunnellonchamber.com, and click on Duck Race Registration in the blog.

On Sept. 26, tune into the DCBA Facebook page or Al’s TV Antenna & Satellite You Tube channel to watch the race live and see which ducks are the lucky ones.

Due to COVID-19, donations for nonprofit organizations have decreased. The Duck Race will help bring awareness, funding and provide relief to these organizations.
